The first game of the season saw the Vikings travel to Flagstaff Hill to take on the Falcons. Unfortunately Flagstaff Hill were the winners of the Wal Baxter – Bob Farrell Perpetual Shield for the first time in 20 years. Well done to Alex Nicholson winner of the Steve Turner medal for his best on ground performance for Happy Valley. Great to see a good crowd out to support our team with many new players playing in our A grade team.
